Banlieues Bleues (FR) – A music organisation founded in 1984 in Paris, with a production space, an annual jazz festival and an outreach and music education programme.

Fèisean nan Gaidheal (Scotland) – The community-based fèis movement has been teaching and performing Gaelic music with  young people since 1981: there are 47 different organisations, all members of  Fèisean nan Gaidheal.
